The Secret Colon Cleansing Diet

Did you know that 50 percent of your immune system is found in
or around the organs that make up your digestive system? This is
why following a colon cleansing diet can be an excellent idea
for your health and wellbeing.

When your colon becomes blocked bacteria and toxins are no
longer able to be passed from your body. These toxins then build
up over time and recycled back into your system causing them to
affect other bodily organs. This leads to variety of symptoms
including:

- General fatigue;
- Irritability;
- Insomnia;
- Headaches;
- Hemorrhoids;
- Menstrual problems;
- Backaches;
- Bloating;
- Constipation;
- Allergies;
- Skin problems.

Thankfully, there are a variety of ways that you can cleanse
your colon. One of simplest is to follow a colon cleansing diet.
If you are looking for a gentle colon cleanse, there is no need
to follow complicate colon cleansing diets that you may find on
the internet or in magazines.

Firstly, start to add more fibrous foods to you diet. Fiber
expands in your intestines, pushing out the accumulated matter
from your bowels. Fat tends to stick to your colon so reduce
your intake of fat while boosting your intake of fruits and dark
leafy vegetables. Priobiotics that are found in yogurt are an
excellent way to destroy the any bad bacteria that has
accumulated in your intestine.

The next part of your colon cleansing diet is to start to add
specific drinks.

In a cup of hot water, dissolve a tablespoon of blackstrap
molasses and drink every second day. Blackstrap molassess
produces a laxative effect and contains large amounts of
calcium, iron and potassium. If you want a more mild drink, you
can add a few tablespoons of aloe vera gel to some water or
orange juice. Alternatively, mix some psyllium powder with water
and consume each day.

You can also add some specific ingredients to you diet to help
the cleanse along. These ingredients include grape juice,
flaxseed, cayenne, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar.

While a colon cleansing diet will help many people, it is very
much a mild approach to colon cleansing. You may need a more
stronger cleanse and may find that consuming one of the many
colon cleansing products that are available will be a much more
beneficial approach. They come in the form of shakes, powders or
capsules. Typically, these are more effective and work much more
quickly than a colon cleansing diet. Many people also find that
these colon cleansing products are easier and more convenient to
follow as they don't have to bother as much about the foods they
are consuming. It really depends on your body, personal
preferences and life situation.

There are two broad categories of colon cleansing products.
Oxygen based products are safe, scientifically formulated colon
cleansers and are the most effective product on the market. Herb
based colon cleansers are less effective but still can do an
excellent job. If you want to try a colon cleansing product,
make sure you do your research and investigate whether you are
getting the best quality ingredients for your money.
